Telegram is the fastest way to put an agent somewhere you can talk to it. That is a real advantage and it is why so many fleets start there. The problem arrives later: an agent that does serious work produces artefacts, and a chat app has nowhere to put them.

What breaks first in a chat app

Long output gets truncated or scrolls away. A report becomes twelve messages. A week later nobody can find it, and there is no version of it that is the version.
